By accessing or using the Comet Blockchain API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. API Usage

You agree to:

  • Use the API only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or other restrictions
  • Keep your API keys secure and confidential
  • Not share, sell, or transfer your API keys to third parties
  • Immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your keys

3. Rate Limits and Quotas

The Service enforces rate limits based on your subscription tier. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary blocking of requests. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

5. Data Accuracy

The blockchain data provided through the API is indexed from the network as-is. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of the data. You are responsible for verifying critical data independently.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Engage in any illegal activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape or harvest data for competing services
  • Reverse engineer the Service

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
